Compelling content is the backbone of CCC’s inbound marketing effort, serving as the fuel for campaigns that leverage email, events, social media, search, and other channels. The right content with smart calls-to-action give website visitors a reason to convert and provide the ability to segment, nurture, and support enterprise sales efforts. Our content includes everything from collateral, blog posts, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, live events, and more.

Reporting to a Director of Marketing, the Marketing Content Specialist will assist the Marketing Content Manager with writing and producing compelling content that expands CCC’s visibility, builds awareness for our expanding product and service offerings, and converts site visitors to marketing qualified leads. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and excellent project management skills.

Primary Duties/Accountabilities:

Working with the Marketing Content Manager, members of internal staff and outside agencies, create content resources that are targeted, scalable and on brand.

Develop multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to drive leads, generate awareness, and achieve other important metrics.

Support additional content channels including the CCC blog and social media channels to support and promote our content and to attract site visitors.

Under the direction of the Marketing Content Manager, collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.

May be accountable for other results and activities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: 

Education: Bachelors Degree

Type of Degree: Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent working experience

Experience: Background in Publishing would be helpful

Direct Experience: 2-4 years

Skills/Knowledge:

  • 2+ years’ experience producing content, campaigns and sales support materials.
  • 2+ years’ experience building audiences either online or offline.
  • Prior experience with Pardot (or equivalent), Salesforce.com and WordPress would be helpful
  • Design skills a plus (experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or other basic design tools)
  • A dual-minded approach: You are creative and a good writer but can also be process-driven
  • Background or interest in publishing would be helpful
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, balance workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across marketing, sales and product teams
  • Strong work ethic with flexibility to work individually and with a team
