MachineMetrics, a leader in IoT platforms for machines, is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to join our team! 

About The Role:

We are looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to join our team and lead our email/social media efforts and community engagement across the company. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and measuring our strategies through our email marketing channel and across owned social platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and advocacy for MachineMetrics, with the ultimate goal of driving sales pipeline. You’ll also work with the marketing and sales team to promote MachineMetrics's live and digital event participation including webinars, trade shows, conferences, digital seminars, thought-leadership series, and in-house events. 

You will play a key role in the content strategy, development and deployment across our communication channels – helping us create and deliver content that reaches and engages the right audiences at the right time. This is an ideal role for someone who is self-motivated, creative, analytical, and collaborative. You should be very comfortable owning and running with initiatives. What You’ll Do:

  • Work with the Head of Marketing and Senior Digital Marketing Manager to design, plan, execute and own deliverables related to email marketing, social media marketing, and event promotion that align with our B2B-focused ABM strategy
  • Own the execution of MachineMetrics’ email marketing that supports new business objectives.
  • Evolve and own our lead nurturing function; Develop targeted sequences that keep our audience engaged and drive opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to develop strong and innovative demand generation tactics on a variety of targeted campaigns. 
  • Collaborate with SDR and Sales departments to ensure relevant team members are enabled on campaigns and equipped for success.
  • Partner with the marketing and sales teams to produce comprehensive email engagement strategies that support event registration and attendance.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance and provide actionable items to test and improve main KPIs on a regular basis.
  • Leverage Hubspot workflows and Social Media Automation tools to streamline and automate campaign activities, operations, and reporting.
  • Work with product marketing to help inform content strategy, develop campaign specific messages and align demand generation programs with ongoing content initiatives.
  • Lead global organic social engagement and community growth.
  • Drive metrics reporting and analytics programs to measure efficacy of social campaigns/programs and email marketing campaigns/programs
  • Drive brand reputation management program
  • Coordinate on the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid amplification budget of content across social platforms with Senior Digital Marketing Manager 
  • Monitor industry news and competitor social channels to ensure MachineMetrics is part of relevant conversations and continuing to stay ahead of topics/trends in the additive industry.

 

What You’ll Have:

  • 2 plus years of experience with social media management, email marketing management, growth marketing or demand generation in a fast-paced organization, preferably in SaaS/software
  • Solid understanding of B2B account-based marketing (ABM), event-based marketing (EBM) and their strategies including relationship management, marketing automation and campaign-driven marketing approaches
  • Experience planning and successfully executing email marketing and social media campaigns
  • Strong analytic skills – ability to use data to develop, optimize and measure marketing communications programs
  • Experience with digital event promotion preferred
  • Organization: You love organizing and arranging people and things with meticulous attention to detail. You can rally people to support, implement, and execute your vision 
  • A bias for technology; utilizing systems including CRMs (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce), G-Suite (google docs etc.), instant message (e.g., Slack, Skype),  (e.g. Hubspot, Sprout Social, Buffer, Drift, Outreach, Salesloft)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar, a plus but not required
  • Graphics design experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign a plus

Other Requirements:

  • You'll need a valid driver’s license and passport, ability to travel without restriction and reliable transportation 
  • You may need to travel on short notice, flexibility is a must, though we make every effort to make it work! (domestic, with potential for international travel)
