About the role:


Mendix is looking for a Campaign Strategist to join the Corporate Marketing Team. In this role, you will be the primary driver of global marketing activities targeted at generating pipeline, increasing opportunity conversion and the velocity of deal progression for our “Mendix for Industries” business.


You will play a key role in agile marketing at Mendix, operating as the product owner and leader of all programs and campaigns produced by a cross functional “Demand Generation” team. As the product owner you will be responsible for designing comprehensive campaign plans in collaboration with internal subject matter experts, developing campaigns pitches, prioritizing campaigns based on level of impact, and managing the execution of campaigns from ideation to optimization.


The ideal candidate for this role possesses an ability to balance strategic thinking with execution. You are comfortable developing campaigns from the ground up, enjoy seeing the business impact from your work, are unafraid to test new ideas, love to solve problems, and thrive in moments where you need to determine a new path forward. You are confident interpreting data and using your insights to drive program development. You are a great communicator and able to facilitate alignment across teams and departments, that leads to results in the market.


Responsibilities:


•Deliver global campaigns and programs such as nurture paths, webinars, paid campaigns, and new content assets, that both generate pipeline and increase conversion throughout the sales funnel, with a focus on planning, execution, and optimization

•Understand the state of our sales funnel and work collaboratively with regional marketing and sales teams to identify the levers to increase velocity of deal progression

•Analyze and communicate program performance to key stakeholders, including marketing leadership and sales, and work to optimize those programs

•Effectively measure sales enablement, sales play adoption, demand gen funnel KPIs and target account adoption and work with teams to optimize execution to acquisition goals 

•Map persona buyer’s journeys through all available channels and work with a cross-functional team to implement journey enhancements that better meet each of our target personas with the content they most need

•Function as the product owner of the “Mendix for Industries” Agile Marketing Team, managing prioritization and quality of output for a cross-functional team of collaborators, including design, solutions marketing, marketing ops, digital marketing, and content marketing 

•Collaborate with the industry solutions team on the building of industry-specific, production-ready applications relevant to solving the specific pain points of our industry target personas

•Develop global sales enablement for campaigns in collaboration with sales leadership and regional marketing teams, including sales plays for specific use cases within the target industries


 

Qualifications:


•Experience in B2B technology marketing

•A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in demand/growth marketing or sales facing roles

•Salesforce experience

•Marketo experience preferred (or other marketing automation)
