Cohere Health is illuminating healthcare for patients, their doctors, and all those who are important in a patient’s healthcare experience, both in and out of the doctors office.  Founded in August, 2019, we are obsessed with eliminating wasteful friction patients and doctors experience in areas that have nothing to do with health and treatment, particularly for diagnoses that require expensive procedures or medications.  To that end, we build software that is expressly designed to ensure the appropriate plan of care is understood and expeditiously approved, so that patients and doctors can focus on health, rather than payment or administrative hassles.

Opportunity overview:

The Marketing Associate is responsible for a broad “jack-of-all-trades” range of critical activity across all marketing functions. You will use your demonstrated project management skills and attention to detail to support or directly execute a variety of tasks and projects across the organization, including with our Growth, Product, Implementation, Provider Relations and Customer Service teams.  The work will be fast-paced - requiring scrappiness, flexibility, curiosity, and grace under pressure.

This is a high visibility position, reporting directly to the VP, Marketing.  As such it’s a great opportunity for an ambitious junior marketer to learn executive-level capabilities, develop senior relationships and potentially advance quickly in a high-growth technology company.

What you will do:

  • Maintain libraries of marketing materials, including our Confluence page, creative assets and shared drives
  • Assist with social media posting and maintenance, across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and other media
  • Assist with talent recruiting efforts, such as recruitment ads and other employer brand-related efforts
  • Post all new materials to the web site; monitor web site for accuracy
  • Help develop and maintain special reports, incorporate various marketing statistics
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned
  • Be accountable to team, department and company OKRs.

Your background and requirements:

  • 2+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in a healthcare technology/product environment, healthcare insurance a plus.
  • Experience and demonstrated excellence in cross-functional marketing project management
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, flexible, and not afraid to take ownership and initiative while working and leading in a cross-functional role
  • Can-do attitude, proactive approach and tenacity in managing timely, quality deliverables, as well as identifying and addressing needs that arise outside of assigned work
  • 4-year degree in marketing, business or similar experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite; document, spreadsheet and slide editing tools

Extra credits for:

  • MBA; Consulting experience is a plus
  • Expertise in value-based care, population health or other healthcare care management technology products
  • Understanding of the healthcare stakeholders – payer, provider and patient
  • Proficiency in Confluence, also Asana, Jira and/or other modern project management tools
  • Experience with social media posts and web site maintenance
