The Marketing Associate role on the Media Services Team at athenahealth is an exciting opportunity for a passionate marketer. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is more than happy to handle a wide variety of tasks, touching multiple channels and tactics. While no day will ever be the same, s/he will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Webinar and third-party Lead Generation Channel, which includes managing relationships with our lead generation partners, monitoring performance, managing a sizeable budget and optimizing athenahealth’s presence. The ideal candidate is a pro at problem solving, exhibits insatiable curiosity, wants to gain new skills as a marketer and most importantly, demonstrates character through a positive attitude. With this role, you will have ownership over important pieces of the business but you’ll also learn and interact with other marketing channels at athenahealth that help drive awareness, favorability + consideration.

Job responsibilities
- Oversee athenahealth’s Third-party Lead Generation Channel and vendor relationships. This includes but is not limited to: working with partners on campaign strategies, handling billing + invoicing, implementing review incentive programs with clients, monitoring athena’s presence on directory listings and working with segment teams to ensure the message is accurate, up-to-date and on-brand.
- Think cross-functionally and help drive digital strategy into our integrated marketing campaigns encompassing other channels like OLA, Webinar, landing page optimization, PPC, print and radio.
- Oversee content syndication efforts with third-party lead generation partners, as well as CPC based bidding models.
- Implement a tactical road map, drive a test & learn approach and hold partners accountable for lead quality and lower-funnel performance.
- Manage and build effective relationships with multiple vendors (media agency, brand agency, internal designers & developers, etc.)
- Maintain and track media budgets across segments, tactics & partners.
Minimum Position Requirements
- Bachelor degree required
- 1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B or healthcare setting
