We believe it’s time for companies to market like media companies—following the leads of brands like Disney, CBS, Netflix, and more. That’s why we’ve created our own episodic videos series, One, Ten, One Hundred and Brandwagon. We need creative, cutting-edge, passionate marketers to build our audience and promote our shows (Brandwagon is the first of many!). You’ll be part of developing new ways of marketing, not just throwing the old playbook at things. Working closely with our Director of Audience Development and our Wistia Studios team (our in-house production agency), you’ll be charged with growing our audience and building our brand affinity, not merely chasing brand awareness or impressions. So if you are a passionate, forward-looking marketer excited about the opportunities that the changing digital marketing and media landscape creates, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director of Audience Development to develop multi-channel marketing campaigns and/or programs to attract new audience members and/or engage our existing audience via show promotion
  • Ensure clear goals for marketing campaigns / programs and track and report on performance versus those goals
  • Work with the Director of Audience Development to determine the right audience, right messaging, and right marketing tactics to deliver on campaign / program goals
  • Generate the content for use in marketing campaigns, programs, and other initiatives. This includes but is not limited to drafting marketing emails, social media posts, other collateral; writing blog articles; and working with our Creative & Design teams to identify other assets required
  • Manage distribution and delivery of marketing emails, social media posts, and other marketing collateral
  • Develop and manage project plans to ensure smooth, on-time delivery of marketing campaigns / initiatives
  • Identify creative, out-of-the-box ideas to improve our marketing efforts

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of marketing experience, including experience producing marketing materials and/or content.
  • Passion for marketing and the media industry
  • Familiarity and comfort with some marketing tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity and self-initiative
  • Collaborative nature
  • Curiosity and an aptitude for learning quickly
  • Strong problem solving skills
