This role will provide direct management of Marketo-based requests to a global team of Marketers. The requests range from building, improving and maintaining operational infrastructure in Marketo to fleshing out the Center of Excellence technology and processes in use to keep our extremely busy campaigns, field marketing and sales teams humming.

 

What will you do:

  • Own and improve supportive structure for a Center of Excellence (CoE) model, directly impacting a steady volume of campaign requests by creating and maintaining Marketo Program Templates, customized Marketo campaign logic, centralized Marketo operational workflow and Confluence documentation for Campaign, Field and Partner Marketing teams
  • Provide assets for custom requests that are non-templatized such as Marketo landing pages, forms, emails, smart lists and reports while upholding our data model, database requirements and branding requirements
  • Own the administration of Marketo for all users and other integrated components such as Marketo Sales Insight, Jeto, JIRA, LinkedIn, 6sense, Zoom, Salesforce, and API-based vendors (experience with Marketo required; experience with Salesforce required; experience with API-based tools required)
  • Own the system governance of Marketo by ensuring the adherence of naming conventions, proper creation of program types, adherence of list import process, regular asset archival, review and mitigation of any system errors, and active analysis of record engagement and validity to maintain database size and quality
  • Identify and implement strategies for streamlining Marketo structure and processes to improve Marketo system performance, ease operational growth and changes, adhere to Marketo contractual database size and support cross-functional team needs from Sales, Marketing, Web and Analytics
  • Work closely with MOPS, Data Analytics and Web Strategy teams to continuously improve all aspects of EDB’s Marketing Operations, including lead management, lead scoring, data management, GDPR compliance, nurture and reporting

 Is this you:

  • Have 3+ years’ experience using Marketo in Marketing or Marketing Operations field. Marketo Certification required.
  • 3+ years’ experience working with Salesforce.com, specifically integrated with Marketo
  • Demonstrate a mastery of Marketo features/function and design best practices for all standard program types, data management, forms, email and landing page templates, scoring, lifecycle, reporting, analytics, and other add-ons.
  • Have a deep understanding of Marketing & Sales processes in mid-size and large enterprises, particularly as they relate to attribution, hand-off for follow-up, and closed-loop marketing, including core marketing automation processes such as lead management, lead nurturing, data manipulation, campaign management, database hygiene, system governance, GDPR compliance and digital marketing
  • Experience using Marketo 3rd-party integrated solutions (6sense, ZoomInfo, RingLead, LeanData, Zoominfo, Jeto, and other API-based tools)
  • Experience working with global teams that cover and Europe.
  • Possess an innovative, problem-solving attitude with the ability to drive technical decisions and seek solutions to tough problems.
