We’re growing our Employee Experience team here at Toast, and we’re looking for a creative and driven person to come join this team. As part of the Employee Experience team you’ll be helping to build a strong sense of belonging for Toasters across the organization, while inspiring them through our internal programs, communications and new content creation. Reporting to the Director of Employee Experience, you’ll be responsible for developing a cohesive set of communications, including newsletters, blogs, and other resources to continue to provide Toasters with an opportunity to connect and grow with one another. We’re seeking someone who loves a challenge, is solutions oriented and knows how to bring people together.
To be successful in this role you should be a problem solver, highly organized, have a passion for delivering amazing experiences to people, and of course have fun while doing it.
About this roll*
- A high energy individual with strong written and multimedia communication skills, who is excited to bring our values & culture to life throughout our employee facing communications.
- Find new ways to enhance the employee experience by managing our internal programs & content calendar, including sourcing and creating content for employee blogs, team newsletters, e-books and our monthly Toast Magazine - The Slice!
- Review, edit and write clear, engaging, and consistent employee-facing communications on behalf of various stakeholders.
- Help manage key internal communications platforms, including our internal communications calendar and intranet
- Assist with managing content for employee meetings (i.e. OneTeam) and events that facilitate and fuel our community’s connection to our goals and mission
- Have a keen eye for detail & design work and proven ability to create content and presentations that excite and inspire their audience.
- Partner with Employer Brand, PR & Marketing to align our internal messaging with Toast’s external communication strategy, brand standards and tone.
- Possess strong project management skills; ability to manage initiatives from ideation through to execution; including planning, communications, driving engagement and wrap up.
- Work cross functionally and build partnerships both within the People Team and the rest of the organization to tune into employees' needs.
- Partner with the Employer Brand Manager to create content that helps tell the story of the Toast across our external channels promoting our culture, community and the impact that Toasters are having on our industry.
