Head of Marketing, Haven Life
We're looking for a Head of Marketing, Haven Life to develop and lead the overall strategy and success of our marketing and communications program including, but not limited to, the oversight of all aspects of internal and external digital marketing; direct customer acquisition; brand development and management; content marketing; media relations; and event management. Reporting to the CEO / Head of Haven Life, you'll work directly with our business leaders at Haven Life, Haven Technologies and MassMutual including Partnership and Distribution, Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Technology, and Customer Success. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced marketer who's looking to build a world-class team to develop, deliver and execute a fully integrated marketing strategy to help scale and grow a well-respected life insurance innovator.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop and execute an integrated brand, identity and comprehensive marketing strategy for continued growth.
- Conduct thorough analysis on marketing ROI and successfully develop cost effective solutions
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
- Manage the marketing plan budget and establish goals and objectives for all marketing activity, and track results and report on completion with company management on a regular basis.
- Stay abreast of current competitive and market conditions and trends and incorporate new innovations into company marketing plans.
- Build and manage an in-house creative services team to execute a full range of marketing assets and programs.
- Develop memorable and impactful marketing campaigns that will inspire middle market insurance customers.
- Provide marketing strategy and support for distribution partners and agencies.
- Manage the company's website, blog, SEO/SEM programs, resource center, and other marketing initiatives.
- Expand, develop, and maintain media relationships to create a positive external and internal image associated with brand recognition
- Surprise and delight existing policyholders to inspire them to become brand advocates.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree required
- 10-15+ years of progressive experience in planning, managing, and executing multi-channel, multi-segment marketing campaigns for a direct-to-consumer brand.
- Demonstrated experience successfully marketing financial products and services; Fintech or InsurTech experience a plus.
- Track record of overachievement in digital marketing and customer acquisition
- A growth marketing mindset and approach with a strong understanding of web lead generation, including affiliate marketing, SEM, content marketing and SEO.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments and create best-in-class content
- Strong analytical skills.
- Previous start-up experience is a plus
- This role requires candidates to work from our Manhattan office
