The Performance Marketing team is looking for an experienced SMS marketer to lead the growth, strategy and execution of our SMS marketing communications program. This role would involve overseeing a cross-functional team/resources related to SMS marketing, including day-to-day correspondence with vendors. In this role, you and your team would own end-to-end experience of outbound marketing campaigns from messaging to click-through experience. 

What you’ll be doing here: 

-Leading the growth, strategy and execution of our SMS marketing communications program.

-Applying the scientific method to the development of AB tests

-Own delivery of growth goals, and partner with internal stakeholders in business development, product, design, and engineering to ideate and drive forward the biggest growth ideas.

-Own reporting and monitoring of growth goals and marketing campaign performance.

-Own SMS/MMS channel health metrics and deliverability monitoring.

-Maintaining a deep understanding of mobile marketing channels best practices (following CTIA guidelines), technology, and trends reacting to new learnings and behavioral changes.

-Identifying opportunities to improve the effectiveness of SMS/MMS marketing programs and processes.

 

About you and your skills:

-An advocate of using data to make business decisions, results-oriented, seasoned data expert who thrives on identifying and executing growth opportunities.

-Possess the ability to make a compelling case for new approaches and additional resources required to accommodate innovations.

-Demonstrated ability to incubate and step-function high ROI growth in SMS KPIs or deliver key strategic projects and analyses

-Experience managing cross-functional teams to deliver work to completion 

-Analytical and problem-solving skills developed through experience analyzing data, data visualization, developing hypotheses, performing qualitative and quantitative research, and generating insights & recommendations.

-3+ years’ experience leading and managing SMS and/or MMS marketing campaigns and member communications

-Experience working in Twilio, Plivo, SignalWire or similar

-Familiarity with SMS best practices, protocols and deliverability

-Expert proficiency in SQL and the ability to work with large datasets

-Proficiency in Tableau, Python and/or R a plus
