CarGurus is looking for an experienced Field Marketing Manager to join our team! If you’re a marketer who understands that Field Marketing goes far beyond coordinating events, you have a passion for collaboration to drive substantial business results, and you’re looking to use your strategic and analytical skills daily, please read on.
What You'll Do:
- Defining our events strategy –virtual and in-person- as part of the broader B2B Marketing strategy to acquire new customers and engage with current customers.
- Evaluating and understanding the industry tradeshow/conference landscape to decide the appropriate involvement and sponsorship level
- Managing our annual industry conference through collaboration with internal partners and external vendors to ensure a flawless and valuable customer experience
- Building a portfolio of regional events with the ultimate goal of engaging with as many of our customers as possible to fuel customer satisfaction and expansion
- Devising a partner and influencer marketing strategy
Who you are:
- Experience in marketing, B2B marketing, event marketing, or related/relevant fields
- Outstanding communication skills
- Experience managing and coaching event marketers
- Experience managing multiple major priorities, partners, contractors, and vendors
- You understand that priorities and expectations can change, and you aren’t afraid to adjust course as needed
- You’re a self-starter, natural leader, and aren’t afraid to voice your opinions
- You have 5+ years of marketing experience and understand the levers a fielder marketer can pull to drive success

CarGurus employees in the US can choose to work from home / remotely for the duration of 2021, or participate in a phased return to our beautiful office spaces.
