The Mission

The North American (Northam) Field Marketing Manager creates and manages middle and bottom of the funnel campaigns that drive demand for our North American sales team and ultimately help them to close business. This person plays a leadership role in global coordination, ensuring that other regional field marketers can take advantage of the stellar campaigns that they’ll build.

The Challenge

In this role, the field marketer works closely with sales and marketing stakeholders to build campaigns that support product launches, improve funnel dynamics or support other company initiatives. Some of the assets built as part of these campaigns include, but certainly aren’t limited to, webinars, ebooks, one sheets, pitch decks, ads, and videos. In some cases, the field marketer creates those assets themself and other times will leverage other subject matter experts for that creation. The person in this role will need to ensure there is strong sales and marketing alignment for all of the campaigns they run.

In addition, the field marketer manages the content creation and marketing for our Northam field event series, called Grow with HubSpot. These events are a key part of driving demand and helping the sales teams to close that demand.

Responsibilities

  • Measure and provide actionable recommendations regarding sales funnel health and subsequent campaigns
  • Make smart strategic decisions; matching the needs of the sales team with the customer or prospect, and with the business
  • Strong leadership experience during cross-functional communication and project management efforts
  • Cross-team collaboration around planning and executing on middle/bottom of the funnel campaigns (ebooks, product launches, etc.)
  • Proficiency with product marketing and/or technical writing (one sheets, case studies, guides, reports, presentations)
  • Proven track record of achieving buy-in for their work across departments

Requirements

  • Passionate about building marketing campaigns and seeing their success
  • Love working with sales teams and helping them close business
  • A strong writer who can easily shift styles for different audiences
  • Ability to back decisions with data and love digging into results and reports
  • Creative and innovative - will do the same thing twice if it’s effective, yet never short on new ideas
  • Excel at cross-group collaboration and can easily get disparate teams to work together
  • Obsessive over impact and results
  • Bachelor's degree required

Other Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience collaborating with global teams
  • Knowledge of HubSpot, inbound marketing and sales
  • Basic design or coding experience
