We’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Marketing Analyst to join our growing Epocrates Marketing team. Long before Epocrates was acquired by athenahealth in 2013, it had built a stellar reputation amongst clinicians as a trustworthy source for drug information, clinical practice guidelines, medical news alerts and more. Our market leading position continues today, with physicians rating Epocrates the #1 medical app for 8 consecutive years. Epocrates has established a loyal network of more than one million health care professionals, including 1 in 2 U.S. physicians, who routinely consult the app for clinical decision support, streamlined workflow, and better patient care. Epocrates messaging solutions gives pharmaceutical companies the ability to leverage the leading mobile HCP platform to reach prescribers and other key decision makers with their clinical brand messages.The Marketing Analyst role will be a full-time consultant position, with the potential of converting into a full time employee position in 2019. This person will support our app development & optimization teams and our commercial sales team. He or she will be responsible for executing multichannel marketing campaigns aimed at acquiring & engaging new clinical users and driving awareness and demand from pharmaceutical marketers for sponsored content/ advertising opportunities within the app.
Primary responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams to guide and execute multi-channel campaigns and initiatives that fall under the 2018 plans, ensuring project and department level goals, objectives and deadlines are met and exceeded. Track, analyze, and optimize results over time.
  • Assist with planning and organizing prospect events including roundtable dinners, tradeshows, and national conferences. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Coordinating invitations, managing outreach and attendee lists.
    • Securing location, food and beverage, travel, agendas and other logistical needs.
    • Working with marketing team members and Epocrates leadership to develop event content including topics & speakers, entertainment and team building programs, etc.
  • Help to execute quarterly webinars, contributing to the topic and speaker selection, content development, and cross-channel promotion/outreach
  • Partner and manage relationships with performance (growth), product, Creative and Medical Information teams daily
  • Create and manage ongoing email campaigns targeted towards reactivation and engagement
  • Create and project manage integrated campaigns for new app features and tradeshows, including email, in-app messaging, social media, print and more
  • Create campaigns for and report out on user surveys
  • Manage Epocrates Twitter and Facebook accounts

Our ideal candidate has the following experience & qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of business to business marketing experience; preferably within HiT, healthcare, and/or technology (internships included).
  • Bachelor degree required. Preference will be given to degrees in Marketing, Business, or related degrees.
  • Smart, self motivated & ambitious team player who enjoys working with others to achieve exceptional results.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills with proven ability to juggle multiple projects at once, prioritizing tasks as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. We’re looking for someone who can communicate effectively internally to achieve the end-goal quickly and efficiently (e.g. creative briefs, internal emails), but is equally skilled at writing for creative assets (e.g. direct mail, online ads, webinars, etc.). Writing samples will be required from second round interview candidates.
  • Exudes confidence and professionalism when working with diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical and strategic-thinking skills; ability to think outside the box to solve challenges and keep projects moving forward.
  • Willing and excited to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and growing company.
