We are looking for an experience event marketing manager to join our events team. You will produce and to support RevGrowth, Drift's annual event series, that brings together sales and marketing leaders. Drift hosted four Virtual RevGrowths in 2020 and will introduce a hybrid experience in 2021 and continue in 2022. 

What you’ll be doing on the Events team at Drift:

  • Manage event operations across multiple programs but specializing in Drift’s event series “RevGrowth”, included in this role, but not limited to: strategy, project management, vendor negotiation and management, production, partner with demand generation on event registration, partner with marketing operations on data gathering/reporting, evaluations, speaker engagement and cross-functional partnering.
  • Deliver against established milestones to achieve team and stakeholder goals, contributing to long term strategic vision and process development.
  • Utilize exceptional communication skills to manage leadership reviews, weekly team meetings, event check-ins and post event debriefs.
  • Continuous testing, measuring, scaling, and evolving RevGrowth programs.
  • Support on-site execution of some events once they are hosted in-person again, but will also develop execution playbooks for global teams to implement.
  • Creatively deliver high-quality customer-facing events with frugality.
  • Ability to travel and work across time zones.
  • Moves easily between generating big, creative ideas to driving process improvement, to executing event details and administration.
  • Thrives in an ambiguous environment; can independently remove blockers and make decisions autonomously.
  • Experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously, with the ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, diverse, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Exhibits ability to stay calm under pressure; resilient to set-backs.
  • Virtual event experience.

About you and what type of skills you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing and event management
  • Has a strong point of view on operational excellence and logistics management
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional event marketing programs
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience, partnering with demand generation and marking ops on metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
  • Familiarity working with marketing software 
  • You are very detail oriented and are very organized
  • Have complete ownership and accountability over their role and functional area
  • You're always thinking one step ahead
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service
  • Able to support fast-paced event activity in a startup environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or relevant field of study OR 4+ years’ additional relevant professional experience
