Scandit is seeking an Event Marketing Manager responsible for the strategy & execution of tradeshows, conferences, webinars, workshops and smaller events across North America, LatAm & Europe.

The ideal candidate for this role thrives with cross-department collaboration, is highly organized as well as creative and hands-on, enjoys working in a dynamic and global environment. You bring a proven track record planning and organizing a variety of events, ideally in the technology space (software or SaaS are a major plus).

You will be working with a Global Events team to help create brand awareness, generate leads and pipeline as well as position Scandit as a thought-leader through both industry and Scandit-led activities in these locations.

What You Will Do:

  • Research industry events such as tradeshows and conferences and evaluate sponsorship opportunities based on Scandit’s annual objectives and target audience, working closely with Field Marketing and Sales to align strategy and plans
  • Evaluate Scandit-led event opportunities such as webinars and workshops in collaboration with third parties (partners, customers, analysts, industry publications)
  • Design, budget, plan and execute selected events from conception to completion, including third party and suppliers management, booth design, branding, logistics and AV requirements, webinar platforms management, demo set-up, audience acquisition, sales engagement and follow-up
  • Work closely with Product and Industry Solutions to ensure proper product demo strategy and set-up
  • Work closely with Marketing in order to incorporate brand messaging into event experience
  • Communicate event details with internal stakeholders - including sales, business development, field marketing and partner team.
  • Work closely with field marketing and business development on post-event follow up.
  • Handle pre- and post-event actions (event feedback, analysis, ROI and budget finalization)
  • Provide improvements to the event team’s functionality and day-to-day processes, bring new ideas and concepts to event programs

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of B2B working experience as Event Manager
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors, managing budgets and contracts
  • Experience with demand gen and thought leadership oriented events such as Tradeshows, Conferences, Webinars, Workshops, Roundtables
  • Experience in the technology industry and SaaS company is a strong plus
  • Experience with Sales Force is a plus
  • Superior organization and project management skills
  • Objectives-driven, with commitment to deliver against pipeline targets
  • Highly organized and structured, capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to adapt to a variety of internal & external stakeholders
  • Skilled at building highly effective, cross-functional working relationships with Sales and Marketing
  • Passion and commitment to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong culture of innovation, collaboration and quality of execution
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Willingness to travel
