About the Position

We are looking for a strategy and execution-focused Director of Product Marketing to grow Indico’s leadership in the market. We’ve gained momentum in attracting customers from the Fortune 1000 in the Financial Services and Insurance Markets, in addition to other categories. The explosive interest in artificial intelligence combined with the rapid growth in enterprise automation makes this an ideal time to step on the gas and drive market development and company growth. 


In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, you’ll partner with the product team for product launches, sales training and demos. You’ll bring strong strategy and leadership skills and be an accomplished B2B product marketer with deep expertise in Enterprise software. Importantly, you’ll have experience marketing to a technical audience and/or a technical degree.

Responsiblities

  • Product Positioning/Messaging and Go-to-Market Strategy:​ Develop and own product and competitive positioning, buyer persona development, market segmentation, product messaging and value propositions that differentiate Indico and our platform in the marketplace
  • Team Leadership and Development: ​Recruit and hire world-class product marketers and build out the product marketing function. Set the product marketing strategy and deliver high-impact outputs to Indico
  • Content Creation/Demand Generation:​ Create middle-of-the-funnel marketing content aligned to buyer personas (which you’ll develop), including white papers, e-books, ROI tools, collateral, website content, videos, webinar content and blogs, to facilitate lead generation efforts
  • Competitive:​ Understand Indico’s buyers and competitors, and partner cross-functionally with product management and sales teams to align focus, content, strategy, vision, and direction
  • Sales Enablement:​ Create and execute a full range of sales tools, including first call decks, playbooks, case studies, guides, product videos, business justification/”why Indico” documents, and demos to improve close rates and decrease time-to-sales. Be glued at the hip with our sales teams, accompanying them on sales calls, learning first hand what works and what doesn't with customers and prospects
  • Analyst Relations:​ Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry analysts, aligning them positively towards Indico

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in technology marketing, specifically in enterprise software solutions
  • Demonstrated expertise and success in developing compelling product and solution messaging that delivers clear benefits and differentiation.
  • Experience building and supporting partner channels a plus
  • Familiarity with a broad set of marketing tools and platforms - CRM, MAP, ABM, etc.

Location

Indico Data's Boston HQ is currently out of Venture Lane near Governments Center. We have team members spread across the United States but the majority of the team is still in Boston and a few folks come in occasionally to use the co-working space!
