Role Overview

The marketing team is seeking a performance marketing leader that has a passion for “moving the needle” by implementing campaigns that add concrete value to our revenue generation efforts. This role will be primarily responsible for creating end-to-end offline and online programs to drive new team creations into the top of our funnel. This role has both a large influence on our company’s revenue creation and ample room for career development. This role will require a tremendous amount of independence and ability to make strategic decisions. It is a fast-paced and data-intensive position within the marketing team.

What is the job like?

  • Employ the 70/20/10 rule to campaign management: invest 70% in established programs, 20% to new programs that are starting to gain traction, and 10% to new ideas that are completely untested
  • Own end-to-end management of global program execution, including: campaign setup, A/B testing, conversion flows, and campaign optimization to maximize team creations for all performance channels (ppc, influencer, affiliate, OOHA, & referral)
  • Work with our creative and content teams to develop best practices for our performance channels
  • Define growth and performance benchmarks and establish analytics and reporting for these KPIs
  • Ongoing sourcing, hiring and management of key performance marketing hires
  • Partner with lifecycle marketing to improve campaign performance by segmenting messaging to align with the various touch points along the customer’s journey

Who are we looking for?

  • Analytical – love to geek out over pivot tables and diving into spreadsheets of data to understand what drives performance
  • Creative – you know marketing programs are equal parts data analytics and good creative design. Can tap into both their right and left brain to come up with creative solutions.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented – Obsessively makes to-do lists and can’t stand to let things fall through the cracks.
  • Experienced – This isn't your first time to the rodeo. You have a few years of experience developing and managing complex B2C marketing campaigns. This team is expected to grow substantially over the next 2 years.

Who can apply for this role?

  • 8+ years experience in either B2C (transactional: ecomm, gaming, etc), or high-volume/high velocity B2B and a portfolio of running successful performance marketing campaigns
  • An ability to prioritize what’s most important, including proactively taking on new challenges that might not have been in the original plan
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables,VLOOKUP, & IF functions) & SQL
  • You know your way around: Ads Manager, AdWords, WordPress, Google Analytics, & Hubspot
  • A disdain for the status quo; able to think and act outside the confines of the job description, desire to contribute value in other areas of growth
