Director of Marketing
About UsBondLink provides a SaaS platform to bond issuers in the $4 trillion municipal bond industry. We have recently raised a large Series A, we have strong revenue growth, and we are already working with many of the largest bond issuers in the country.
Our co-founders include a serial tech entrepreneur with multiple successes and a senior ex-government official with deep experience in the wheelhouse of our product offering.
Culturally we provide all the startup bells and whistles, and we have a beautiful new office in Fort Point that we’re looking to fill with talented people.
We are seeking a Director of Marketing. In this role you will work closely with the CRO and other members of the leadership team to define and execute a winning go-to-market strategy. You will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and be responsible for all aspects of a successful B2B software marketing organization including inbound and outbound demand generation, brand management, content creation, digital and online strategies and overall marketing operations.
What you’ll be doing: • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategy to align with Corporate goals for sales growth and brand awareness.
• Manage a marketing budget with accountability for reporting ROI, spend and vendor relationships
• Work closely with Communications Director, corporate events and product teams to launch relevant campaigns
• Manage, recruit, train and lead a growing marketing team
• Oversee digital and online marketing strategy with the planning and execution of tactics including videos, webinars, SEO, social media, podcasts
• Build lead gen and nurturing programs, including email marketing campaigns and web landing pages, across all stages of the buyer lifecycle for cost-effective pipeline acceleration across target markets.
• Assist sales team in developing sales enablement content, tools, and sales playbooks
• Determine, track and report on marketing KPIs
• Brand development and strategy including buyer persona research, and brand campaign creation, and development and maintenance of brand assets and social channels.
• Oversee event selection, coordination and event success criteria
What you’ll bring:
• 8-10+ years of experience driving growth through marketing execution
• 5-7+ years of experience in a marketing capacity related to Product Marketing, Digital Marketing and Demand / Lead Generation
• BA or BS in marketing or equivalent field is required, and MBA is preferred
• Ability to travel for events and client engagements
• Experience with marketing automation and campaign management tools
• Must be able to thrive in a highly dynamic, flexible work environment and switch rapidly from strategy to execution
• Product Marketing experience, with a focus on B2B/enterprise software/SaaS solutions. Government, Fintech, and marketing experience in the bond market a plus.
• Strong content development and communications skills
• Experience building and leading a team
