As a Director on the Marketing Analytics team, you will operate in service of the larger goal for marketing analytics: improve marketing efforts through the use of data. This means ensuring we have the right data to make informed decisions, this means accelerating data-driven maturity across marketing, it means teams having the right access to the right data, it means having a clear perspective on what "great" analytics looks like. This also means building for the future and evolving our data collection and measurement practices in a way that is flexible and allows us to adapt to changes in marketing but also our business.
This is a roll up your sleeves player/coach role aimed at driving material change within the business. You'll have great support from marketing leadership, other functional stakeholders, and the analytics team to accomplish goals and advance key programs.
Your Responsibilities:

  • Support efforts to build and reshape our marketing data infrastructure to enable best-in-class marketing.
  • Oversee a team that is responsible for managing, maintaining and evolving marketing's data taxonomy, data sources, core functional dashboards
  • Partner and consult with functional leaders to craft learning agendas that will accelerate performance and understanding
  • Mentor, build and grow a team of successful business analysts; provide oversight and analytical thought leadership to ensure that outcomes are robust, useful, reliable, and repeatable.
  • Partnering with Data Engineering to facilitate data infrastructure improvements
  • Accelerate use of more sophisticated analytics solutions that drive impact
  • Develop standardized processes to enhance how the analytics function operates (intake docs, taxonomy reviews, dashboard updates, dashboard best practices, etc.)
  • Providing broader analytics leadership and education as we enable teams to self-serve and use data in the flow of their day to day jobs.


What it takes to catch our eye:

  • Proven track record of constructive working-relationships with paid media (brand and performance), marketing automation, website teams, and external vendors.
  • Showcase extensive experience leading highly visible analytics projects end-to-end and thriving in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong SQL skills, BI proficiency, solid understanding of A/B and multivariate experiments, and a demonstrable understanding of statistics.
  • Deep knowledge of data collection systems and technology: Google Analytics, AdWords, Ad Servers, marketing automation tools, CDPs, Mixpanel, Kissmetrics, Optimizely, Clicktale, etc.
  • Experience with paid media delivery data and Media Mix Modeling preferred.


For all remote roles and roles based in California/Washington: The annual base salary for this position ranges from $191,000 to $259,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for the annual bonus plan or sales incentive plan and eligibility to participate in our long term equity incentive program.
