The Role

Akili Interactive is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing Analytics to help find the most effective and strategic ways for us to get our product out to the world and help change the way people think about medicine. 

You will drive marketing analytics support for the marketing team’s ability to track and optimize marketing programs. You will analyze performance, synthesize insights, and develop relevant strategies to scale our marketing investments. You will own the vendor relationship as well as work with numerous internal partners, including Marketing, Data Science, and Sales.  This role reports to the VP of Decision Support and Strategic Planning as an individual contributor to start with plans to grow and develop a team as the business scales.


  • Develop a first-of-its-kind healthcare marketing attribution system able to connect data from acquisition, to conversion, to pharmacy dispense, and retention 
  • Perform segmentation analysis on prescribers and patients(caregivers) to generate high-value customer targets for commercial teams
  • Perform analysis into specific marketing channels to understand the conversion funnel and its underlying drivers and provide optimization recommendations
  • Develop performance indicators and benchmarks, build dashboard that monitor KPIs, highlight areas of improvement, and influence strategy
  • Work with channel partners on marketing performance analysis to inform investment decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and when appropriate, lead cross-functional teams to address business issues
  • Build the function with external partners and an internal team to meet business needs


  • 10+ years of marketing analytics experience, with a minimum of 5 years in B2C marketing or management consulting.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to manipulate complex datasets, independently troubleshoot, communicate detailed analysis in a simplified way, and pull and distill action-oriented insights
  • A strategic problem solver with the proven ability to structure a data-driven approach to complex business problems with a high level of accountability and little guidance
  • Comfortable presenting complex analysis in a simple, easy to digest way to business partners
  • Familiar with Google digital marketing products such as Google Analytics 360, Tag Manager, Data Studio, Optimize 360, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, etc.), or equivalent
  • Demonstrable expertise with SQL, Tableau, or other querying/data visualization tools.
  • Intellectual curiosity; ability to confidently challenge the status quo
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Experience building high-impact teams 
  • Experience in a start-up environment is preferred
