Director, Growth Marketing
Will lead the design, development, and execution of the company’s online marketing campaign strategy. Managing a team of quantitative data analysis and growth marketers, the individual will: Conduct statistical analysis and apply the scientific method to develop AB tests and MVA experiments to drive the development of new online marketing campaigns, and the expansion of existing campaigns, to improve brand visibility and add new members; Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitor performance towards KPIs over time, and deliver reports on campaign performance to internal stakeholders; Analyze web-based metrics to identify and execute optimization strategies and growth opportunities across all channels, including search engine marketing, display and social media networks; Break down ambiguous and complex problems by defining key success criteria, and develop data-driven and prioritized roadmaps to deliver results; Identify new opportunities for growth in existing and unproven channels; Partner with internal stakeholders in business development, product, design, and engineering to ideate and drive forward the biggest growth ideas; Determine the strategic direction of the team and leverage expertise and experience with growth marketing initiatives in a B2C internet-based business; Deliver on committed objectives, surfacing at-risk areas and driving forward the execution of solutions; Own relationships with external partners/vendors at both the tactical and strategic levels; Train, mentor, review, and hire team members. This position involves daily work with SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Google Adword, Google Analytics, Facebook AdManager. Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field; plus years’ experience with data analysis for online sales or digital marketing. Applicants must also have any demonstrated working knowledge of: SQL, R, Python, and Tableau; Machine learning and statistical modeling; Digital campaign management, including A/B and multivariate testing.
