Job Description
The Global Marketing team is looking for our next all star communications pro to take our brand and communications strategies to the next level across the globe! Reporting to the EVP of Global Marketing, you will own our global communications strategies to drive the Flywire brand and story. A master of positioning and brand, you will lead our communications strategy to build Flywire into our next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive our corporate and vertical messaging and positioning including global brand identity, corporate presentations and materials in collaboration with our executive team and key stakeholders across Flywire
- Build and advance Flywire’s public image in ways that directly impact valuation, revenue, and employer branding
- Lead and manage Flywire’s external global PR agencies, achieve high visibility with top tier industry media
- Lead Flywire’s overall communications channels and strategies as well as team members across social and more, to drive optimization of Flywire's brand including owned channels, 3rd party communities, social selling and broader FlyMate employee activation
- Build and manage analyst and industry relations program creating strong partnerships, and raising Flywire's awareness and brand in key areas
- Build and manage our global speaker bureau and awards program, identifying avenues for to drive though leadership in the Fintech space and across our key vertical markets
- Drive key objectives and measurement for global communications function and continue to raise our Flywire share of voice in industry and vertical markets
Qualifications
FlyMate Skills & Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- 8-10 years experience in global brand, communications and PR. Both in house and agency experience a plus
- Experience builder and leading speaker programs, analyst and industry relations programs and managing external agencies
- You are a master storyteller and communicator as well as strategic leader
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong and proven track record with communications, media relations and social media
- Proven experience driving corporate communications through massive scale and growth
- A start-up mentality, high sense of urgency as well as an ability/interest in wearing multiple hats
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive new ways of thinking of driving communications internally and externally
- Building, managing and coaching teams and individuals to achieve, continuously learn and grow their careers
