Director of Enterprise Marketing
As the Director of Enterprise Marketing within Whoop’s B2B business, you will report to the Chief Business Officer leading B2B marketing strategy, develop customer insights, and create plans to drive growth within our target customer segments. In this role, you’ll analyze the total addressable market for current and future WHOOP product offerings in key markets and develop strategies to drive customer acquisition and adoption. These customers represent a wide range of industry verticals including corporate, military, government, professional and collegiate sports. You’ll collaborate closely with other marketing leaders to support global marketing programs and messaging strategy. You will do this through a combination of analytical insight, strong business acumen, and an ability to partner and influence both sales leaders and leaders in relevant cross-functional roles across the company.
The ideal leader will be a strategic thinker with a keen understanding of enterprise customers. You’ll develop and share insights on the enterprise customer journey and the role of buying teams. You’re an analytical, creative leader who is comfortable rolling up your sleeves to drive key initiatives. You’re excited to play a key role in growing WHOOP.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing Whoop’s Enterprise B2B marketing strategy to drive significant YoY growth in a highly competitive market
- Developing a holistic marketing plan that includes customer and market segmentation, value proposition development, awareness building, lead generation and enrollment / retention marketing to drive sales and market share growth
- Building and leading a high-performance team, managing internal and external resources, and collaborating cross-functionally for flawless execution
- Working closely with sales, customer success and product teams to develop competitive positioning, value propositions and customer marketing deliverables
- Executing lead generation initiatives and digital campaigns to support the sales team in building a robust sales funnel
- Executing enrollment marketing campaigns for target customer segments
- Making data-driven decisions to manage the enterprise marketing budget for optimal impact
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA degree, MBA preferred
- 8-10+ years enterprise / B2B marketing experience
- Successful track record and marketing leadership experience with Enterprise SaaS companies targeting regulated industries
- A minimum of 3 years of people management experience
- Marketing leadership experience with proven ability to develop and execute strategic and tactical marketing plans
- Comfort with analytics, including an understanding of digital marketing and customer acquisition / retention metrics
- Excellent communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity
