About the Director, Acquisition Marketing Position

The Director, Acquisition Marketing is a strategic and tactical business leader with extensive experience leveraging technical platforms, customer data, and insights to create campaigns that drive acquisition and retention. Reporting to the CMO, this critical hire is tasked with oversight of demand generation efforts within key verticals, as well as through our partner network. The successful candidate will have direct experience with ABM and database marketing, as well as owned, earned, and paid media programs that produce measurable results.
 

Responsibilities

  • Build, scale, and optimize ROI-positive acquisition campaigns across channels.
  • Manage overall pipeline health.
  • Direct and manage all owned, earned, and paid media.
  • Tightly collaborate with our sales team to define and support a complete lead to deal process.
  • Work with current database and web resources to ensure that inbound traffic can be converted into known leads through a best-in-class web experience.
  • Implement testing methodologies to enhance the demand creation process.
  • Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of demand creation activities on sales pipeline, revenue and sales cycle length.

Qualifications

  • Data driven thinker.
  • Proven success in driving and implementing marketing strategy.
  • Experience developing campaigns that move leads throughout all stages of the pipeline.
  • 5-10 years' experience in demand generation, marketing tech, and experience marketing to agency, client and marketing professionals.
  • Experience marketing in a B2B context with both channel partners and direct sales force.
  • Strong ability to find the right mix of marketing up and down the funnel, balancing awareness tactics with demand harvesting tactics.
  • Meaningful experience in ABM (Account Based Marketing).
  • A strong analytical background with a bias for developing data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to clearly communicate results, key learnings, & highlight new opportunities.
  • Plan and successfully manage to channel budgets.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Marketo and Salesforce experience preferred.
