Customer Marketing Manager, Ecommerce

The Toast Customer Marketing team is responsible for driving advocacy, revenue, and retention from our restaurant customer base. The Customer Marketing Manager, Ecommerce will be responsible for driving upsell and cross-sell revenue through self-service ecommerce channels. This role will be responsible for generating product upsells through Toast Shop, our in-product customer marketplace, driving ecommerce channel adoption and incremental ARR. This includes developing marketing campaigns, enablement strategies, and in-product experiences that generate revenue through ecommerce. We are looking for a strategic, results-driven marketing professional with experience in ecommerce marketing. The ideal candidate possesses deep empathy for the customer experience with the ability to identify and execute on growth opportunities within the customer journey.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Drive adoption of the Toast Shop ecommerce channel through internal enablement and product-led growth
- Work with the ecommerce team to develop a strategic roadmap for Toast Shop that services the majority of customer segments and use cases
- Spearhead the launch of new products on Toast Shop, including copywriting, fulfillment operations, and internal enablement
- Develop testing strategies in pricing, packaging, and placement on ecommerce to drive average order value
- Support the attainment of bookings goals across multiple products by developing a highly effective self-service channel

- Experience in ecommerce channel
- Experience with B2B marketing highly preferred
- Strong copywriter and verbal communicator
