Smarter Travel Media is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join our CRM Marketing team. Reporting to the CRM Senior Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for development and execution of a marketing communication strategy to support the traveler life-cycle journey across our portfolio of brands. You will need to be able to collaborate with various teams including but not limited to product, design, engineering, and data services. This position calls for a highly analytical, data-driven, innovative, and creative marketer who can independently manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a proactive and positive can-do attitude.


Responsibilities:

 -Lead and manage life-cycle strategy for subscribers across the 6+ consumer brand portfolio of Smarter Travel Media

-Identify strategies to segment and analyze responsiveness of existing audience

-Create A/B test pipeline to tailor audience segment communication approaches to lift KPIs

-Discover new audience segments and approaches to converting them into members

-Seek out and bring innovative outside industry best practices to existing programs

-Develop and execute end-to-end strategy from ideation, creation, analysis, engineering specifications, and reporting of marketing campaigns and programs

-Proactively analyze managed areas, acting swiftly to make recommendations necessary for the business

-Be a key leader in company strategic planning and budgeting processes

-Communicate KPIs, goal progress and results to stakeholders and management

-Maintain process documentation and internal specification collateral for managed programs

-Partner with other team members and other business units on identifying process bottlenecks and help move past them

-Understand and streamline data source inter-dependencies and processes across the organization

-Learn internal email tools and work with marketers and engineers to adapt them to evolving team needs

-Evaluate 3rd party vendors and tools against internal options


Qualifications:

 -Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years’ experience in data-driven email marketing or cross-channel communication from a B2C business

-Highly data-driven and proficient in general marketing data analysis, SQL preferred

-Deep experience with developing insights based on big data and translating them into A/B tests

-Proven track record of translating concepts into technical requirements and vice versa

-Knowledge of developing and executing email marketing campaigns strategies and roadmaps

-Experience project managing with a focus on minimal viable product approach

-Comfort collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders

-Attention to detail while able to grasp the big picture

-Excellent written and verbal communicator

-Positive, highly motivated self-starter
