Appcues is a SaaS platform used by thousands of companies to improve their products without writing any code. Customers like Amplitude, Lyft, and Privy embed Appcues in their products to improve product adoption and grow their business through beautiful in-app experiences they design. 

Appcues' Content Marketing Manager will:

  • Own and optimize the Appcues Blog and ReallyGoodUX to double repeat readership and drive near triple digit organic traffic growth.
  • Partner with our stellar SEO and content production agencies to identify and prioritize content opportunities, including net new content, refreshes, technical optimizations, and pruning.
  • Ensure all new content meets our quality standards (you’ll set them) and brand guidelines. 
  • Optimize Appcues’ social media presence to drive content consumption and grow our audiences exponentially.
  • Write content as needed to augment agency production and support our strategic content objectives.
  • Measure and report on organic traffic and leads, repeat readership, and social media engagement.
  • Assist with copywriting as needed.

About you:

  • You’re an excellent writer and editor, and you know how to structure a story.
  • You’ve previously owned and scaled a blog or similar content asset at 100k+ sessions per month.
  • You know our space—you’ve got prior experience in or selling to product management, marketing, growth functions.
  • You understand the unique roles of content at each stage of the buyer’s journey.
  • You know how to grow B2B social media audiences and keep them engaged.
  • You get content SEO—you’re not necessarily an expert (we’ve got people for that), but you’re not far off.
  • You’re journalistic in your approach—if the story doesn’t yet exist, you go out and get it.
  • You have a sense of humor—we don’t write bland, corporate content. We aspire to not only educate, but entertain.

100% remote - We don’t have an office so all of our employees learn and collaborate in the same way using remote work practices.
