Job Summary

In this role you will support our executive and employee communications leads and partner closely with our cross-functional communications teams to support the strategy and execution of communication across Nuance. Intended outcomes of these efforts include improved employee retention, increased internal mobility and strong employee engagement. 

 

Key responsibilities for this role include: 

  • Content creation: support the writing and publishing of content that informs, educates, inspires and connects employees across the range of communication channels within Nuance, including our company intranet, social media, email, video, event collateral and environmental branding
  • Communications calendar management: partner across the cross-funcuntional communications teams to manage the overall communications calendar to maintain a consistent, transparent and effective process
  • The Voice (our company intranet): support employee community development and management across our global Voice platform (based on Jive)
  • Training/support: assist with the education of stakeholders on the various communication channels available
  • Employer branding: ensure communications and messages are consistent across all mediums and provide guidelines for externally facing communications related to employer brand initiatives

Qualifications:

Number of Years of Work Experience: 2+

 

  • Strong writing skills with focus on digital delivery (intranet, email, internal signage etc.)
  • Experience writing for social media (company, organization or academic accounts)
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate across groups and deliver positive shared outcomes
  • Confidence and agility with a variety of system and tools

 

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
