Summary:
Acquia is seeking a Communications Specialist to create and execute technical communication strategies for a broad customer base consisting of nonprofits, educational institutions, governmental bodies, and Fortune 500 companies around the world. Communications Specialists use advanced problem-solving to resolve complex technical and administrative challenges in real time across a number of technical domains and global teams that span multiple time zones. A successful candidate relishes the opportunity to collaborate across the multiple internal teams to provide the best possible outcomes to meet customer needs.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with the maintenance of integrated custom tooling and supports the planning, evaluation, and implementation of new communications channels and systems.

- Ability to efficiently prioritize a large number of competing requests
- Perform work with (internal and external) customer satisfaction in mind, while not compromising the integrity of the work
- Excellent interpersonal, team cooperation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience writing for a variety of audiences; demonstrated capacity for flexible tone and style.
- Familiarity with LAMP stack technology is a plus
- Scheduling and project management experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in the Humanities or equivalent preferred
