Associate Product Marketing Manager

The CarGurus Dealer Product Marketing team is looking for a hard-working teammate to produce results for its product efforts for automotive dealers. A successful Product Marketing Senior Associate will be able to prioritize and implement multiple different projects, has a passion for customer-centric marketing, and have strong cross-functional skills to get results.
As part of the Product Marketing team, this person will play a meaningful role in bringing new dealer products and features to market and ensuring the success and adoption of existing products. Main focus areas include working cross-functionally to communicate the vision and value of our products to our dealer customers, supporting go-to-market efforts, and working with various departments to optimally test and launch products and features.
What You'll Do:
- Become a strong partner to key cross-functional partners, including Product Managers, Sales Enablement and Innovation, Demand Generation, and more.
- Work with Product Managers throughout the life-cycle of our products and features to strategically test, launch, and optimize our offerings to deliver value to our customers
- Champion our dealer customer’s needs and perspectives to our cross-functional partners
- Supervise and detail key competitor insights and the implications to our product portfolio
- Contribute to the success of strategic product tests and pilots by supporting recruitment efforts, creating messaging and dealer communication resources, and influencing the feedback process.
- Build compelling and educational dealer-facing product resources to drive adoption, knowledge, and engagement
- Obtain customer insights and automotive market information through surveys, interviews, research projects, and sales data.
- Support the development of product messaging and value props to set CarGurus dealer offerings apart from other competitors
- Develop and/ or participate in, the launch of global products and features (US, CA, UK).
- Work with demand generation marketing teams and sales to determine communication strategy for product/feature updates and proactive notifications to customers.
- Partner with demand generation marketing, sales enablement, product managers, etc. to ensure the success of products and features in the market.
- Supervise key product marketing metrics and conduct analysis to deliver useful insights.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3-6 years of marketing experience.
- Product Marketing experience preferred (B2B or Consumer-Focused).
- Strong communication skills and cross-functional project management success.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to work with many teams/partners.
- Ability to analyze data and conduct customer interviews.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple priorities to deliver results.
- Experience with writing and creating customer-facing communications and marketing materials
- Experience with product management and/or customer insights is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, or Looker, a plus.
- Occasional travel is required for sales and marketing events.
