ACD/Manager, Copywriter
Position Summary: The Marketing Copy Manager will play an integral role on the athenahealth Creative Services team, an in-house agency of writers and designers who produce smart, engaging, industry-leading online and offline marketing assets. Whether you're creating messaging strategies for an interactive trade show booth experience, writing attention-getting direct mail pieces that stand out from "doctors in lab coats" marketing, or coming up with short, smart copy for actionable OLA, you’ll play a critical role in helping us meet our lead generation goals, drive growth, and move our brand forward.
You have a passion and a solid track record for creating great brand experiences and capturing an audience’s attention. You excel at creating effective email, print, and web campaigns, OLA and print ads, and more, and can confidently deliver messaging to engage users and drive athenahealth awareness and leads.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serving as lead copywriter on materials targeting specific segments of prospects, in channels including but not limited to email, print, OLA, social, and experiential marketing
- Contributing to a variety of creative assets for lead generation
- Regularly collaborating with designers to find the right combination of copy and design for each asset, within every campaign
- Working closely with stakeholders and strategists to help achieve campaign strategy goals
- Collaborating cross-functionally to gather product knowledge, execute projects, track outcomes, and refine approaches based on data
