Manage data analytics implementation for clients, focusing on data integrity and technical consultation, including tracking solutions and reporting.

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Implementation Manager to join our Data & Analytics team, reporting to the VP of Data & Technology to support clients directly.
Primary Responsibilities:
This is a hands-on technical role where you own the full data enablement lifecycle for our key clients. Your primary focus will be on delivery, data integrity, and technical consultation.
- Design Data Capture Architecture: Create, document, and manage the technical architecture for client data capture strategies, ensuring alignment with media measurement goals.
- Implement Tracking Solutions: Directly implement and troubleshoot tagging, pixels, and server side tracking for all client analytics and advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads).
- Lead Technical Scoping: Run diagnostic and analytics scoping calls with clients and internal teams to define technical requirements and prioritize implementation tasks.
- Own Task Management: Directly manage, execute, and assist with the technical task pipeline, ensuring all tagging and measurement solutions are delivered accurately and on time.
- Lead Client Consultation: Act as the primary technical point-of-contact, leading client-facing conversations to explain measurement implementation, data flows, and reporting capabilities.
- Oversee Looker Reporting: Design, communicate specifications for, and oversee the technical execution of Looker reporting to transform raw data into governed, actionable dashboards.
- Maintain Client Relationships:
Meet with assigned clients on a regular basis to review data integrity, implementation progress, and address technical performance inquiries. - Drive Internal Alignment: Facilitate clear, decisive internal communications regarding data requirements, implementation status, and project dependencies across internal teams.
Required Skills:
Data Architecture & Implementation
- Tag Management Expertise: Proven, in-depth experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) for advanced configurations and troubleshooting, or equivalent platforms (e.g., Tealium, Launch).
- Server-Side Integration: Practical experience handling Server-Side data capture and portability implementations
- API Expertise: A strong working knowledge of REST-oriented APIs, including specific experience with:
- Facebook Conversions API (CAPI)
- Google Ads API
- Google Analytics Measurement Protocol API
- Web Development Fundamentals: Proficiency in writing and troubleshooting JavaScript as it relates to tracking, dataLayer management, and validation.
- E-Commerce Data: Experience working with common e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Woocommerce, Magento) for data capture and analysis.
- CRM’s: Familiarity with best practices for ingesting data into CRM’s
including Hubspot or Salesforce, maintaining data hygiene for leads, and exporting data.
Analytics & Reporting
- GA4 Mastery: Deep working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) implementation, configuration, and advanced event based tracking solutions.
- Reporting Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining reports and dashboards in Looker Studio (or similar visualization tools like Tableau/Looker).
- Media Platform Tracking: Demonstrated experience implementing and validating tracking solutions for major advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads) within a digital marketing/agency environment.
Strategy & Communication
- Analytics Scoping: Ability to lead diagnostic calls, define business objectives, and translate them into a coherent data capture architecture and analytics roadmap.
- Client Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts and strategic insights to non-technical, senior client stakeholders.
