How you will contribute
You will:
Data Science & Advanced Analytics:
- Lead the design and deployment of predictive and prescriptive models to improve key manufacturing KPIs - such as OEE, yield, quality, and energy efficiency.
- Partner with plants and other stakeholders to develop AI/ML-based tools that proactively identify losses, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Build data pipelines and model automation frameworks to support continuous improvement and scalability across multiple plants.
- Translate business problems into data science projects and ensure measurable operational impact. Create data storytelling dashboards and visual analytics in Power BI, Dash etc. to support line leadership and factory teams.
- Develop and coach plant teams on data literacy, digital tool adoption, and analytic thinking.
- Partner with the global digital community to share best practices and scale successful pilots.
- Promote a culture of curiosity, innovation, and agile experimentation in factory teams.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to embed data-driven problem solving in IL6S / TPM practices.
- Use analytics to uncover root causes, prioritize improvement actions, and quantify the financial and operational benefits.
- Support the AM, PM, and FI pillars through digital and analytical enablers that help eliminate chronic losses.
- Ensure data science initiatives align with Operational Excellence (OpEx) frameworks and the MDLZ IL6S standards.
Digital Transformation
- Act as the Digital Manufacturing Lead for the plant(s), driving digital maturity in line with MDLZ Digital Manufacturing Roadmap (across the IL6S pillars).
- Introduce and scale digital solutions for shop-floor operations - IoT connectivity, digital performance boards, and mobile-first applications.
- Champion the use of connected data systems, ensuring integration between plant digital ecosystems.
- Evaluate and pilot new technologies such as computer vision, digital twins, and advanced process analytics to accelerate efficiency.
Capability Building & Leadership
- Develop and coach plant teams on data literacy, digital tool adoption, and analytic thinking.
- Partner with the global digital community to share best practices and scale successful pilots.
- Promote a culture of curiosity, innovation, and agile experimentation in factory teams.

What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Master's / bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or Industrial Management.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing analytics, operations excellence, or digital transformation roles.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Power BI, SQL, and manufacturing systems (MES, SCADA, SAP).
- Good understanding of IL6S / TPM / Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate analytical insights into business actions.
