Job SummaryThe Manager, Sales & Business Analysis plays a critical role in driving business impact through data-driven decision-making. This position is responsible for delivering actionable insights to optimize sales and product performance across the North America (NA) Marketplace. The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams—including e-commerce, retail, wholesale, merchandising, finance, and VP/GM leadership—to identify growth opportunities and enhance business performance.
This leader will also be instrumental in shaping and implementing future business strategies for the NA Wholesale Market, aligning with marketplace, account, channel, and category goals. Strategies will be grounded in robust sales analytics, market and retailer knowledge, and forward-looking consumer trends.
Plan the Future (40%)
- Lead the creation of long-term financial plans and rep-level sales targets aligned with marketplace and category goals
- Establish a culture of scenario planning for seasonal sell-through and in-market performance
- Support post-season analysis to improve future planning
- Monitor retailer health, marketplace shifts, and consumer trends to inform distribution strategies
- Partner with finance and merchandising through MFP and GTM processes
- Serve as a strategic advisor, delivering insights that guide business decisions
- Integrate diverse data sources to support consumer-centric planning
- Own allocation strategy for key items in NA Wholesale
Own Analytics (30%)
- Oversee seasonal bookings and sales forecast reporting
- Lead the development of Tableau dashboards and sell-through analytics
- Manage allocation processes, including creation, communication, and auditing
- Identify and address gaps in reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with finance to assess inventory obsolescence and risk
Team Leadership (30%)
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency
- Coordinate timelines, manage interdependencies, and mitigate risks
- Resolve complex data-related issues impacting sales
- Analyze and close process gaps with scalable solutions
- Communicate analytical results clearly to stakeholders
- Mentor and develop a team of Sales Planners
- Standardize analytics frameworks and reporting across sales channels
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance data governance and infrastructure
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
Work Experience
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, insights, or business intelligence, preferably in footwear, apparel, or retail
- Deep understanding of Omni Channel Marketplace, including DTC and wholesale models
- Proven leadership in managing high-performing teams
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into strategy
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced Excel skills and strong data storytelling abilities
- Proficient in retail metrics, stock & sales planning, and open-to-buy analysis
- Influential communicator with the ability to drive change
- Willingness to travel across the NA region
- High emotional intelligence, confidence, and strategic thinking
- Proficient in SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in Goleta, CA.
