The Impact You'll Make:
We’re hiring a Lifecycle Operations Manager to join our Lifecycle Marketing team at Upside. This person will play a key role in enabling the infrastructure, data systems, and operational processes that power our lifecycle marketing engine.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing technology, data pipelines, and cross-functional enablement. You will partner closely with lifecycle marketers, engineers, analysts, and product teams to build scalable foundations for sophisticated, personalized, and high-performing campaigns.
Lifecycle Ops & Enablement: Partner with marketers to translate strategy into execution by building and managing the workflows, processes, and systems that enable campaign delivery at scale.
Data Infrastructure & Pipelines: Work cross-functionally with Data and Engineering to ensure access to clean, reliable, and real-time data that fuels audience targeting, personalization, and measurement.
Audiences & Segmentation: Design and maintain audience logic for lifecycle campaigns, helping marketers reach the right users with the right message at the right time.
Platform Ownership: Own and optimize our marketing automation platforms, including configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and documentation of core systems and processes.
Product & Tech Coordination: Partner with team members to evaluate and implement new tools, channel capabilities, and technologies that enhance our lifecycle operations toolkit.
Testing & Deployment: Support the QA and deployment of lifecycle campaigns, including setting up experiments, verifying dynamic content, and maintaining process excellence across initiatives.
Competencies You'll Need:
5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing operations or marketing technology, ideally within a B2C environment
Hands-on experience managing automation tools like Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar platforms
Hands-on experience working with customer data platform (CDP) tools like Segment
Strong understanding of data structures, ETL pipelines, and event-based user tracking; comfort working with data and querying tools is a plus
Experience partnering with engineers, analysts, and marketers to translate business goals into technical solutions
Diligent and dedicated to quality assurance, with a focus on scalability
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and juggle multiple priorities with grace
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Data-centric decision maker with a test-and-learn mentality. Outstanding analytical and critical thinking abilities, and the capacity to interpret data into practical insights and achieve business results.
A collaborative approach with a proven ability to build strong, impactful partnerships across diverse teams.

Location:
This hybrid role is based in our NYC office. In-office attendance is required on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and may increase based on project-based needs and changes to Upside’s in-office policy over time.
Compensation:
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000 - $146,000 + equity + benefits. The final starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
