Leave your boring job behind and step into the #PaintLife! At Paint Nite, we’re in the business of making people happy—how many companies can say that? Our employees love being part of a growing, profitable company that inspires creative thinking, encourages collaboration, and believes that every employee has the power to make an impact. As a constantly evolving company, your job description is dynamic –offering our employees exponential opportunities for professional growth. Last year, Paint Nite was ranked #2 on Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America, and we’re not planning on slowing down any time soon!

Like we said, we’re in the business of happiness, and that starts with our employees. At Paint Nite, you’ll enjoy a brand-new office space complete with an in-house fitness facility, indoor basketball court, and a full bar with two kegs of ice-cold beer. We offer unlimited PTO, flex hours, and great benefits—it’s no wonder Paint Nite is a fixture on Boston “coolest companies” lists!

We are looking for a Relationship Manager to join our internal Licensing Team, to help our Paint Nite Licensees (small business owners licensed to run their own personal Paint Nite business) grow and conduct exceptional business on the Paint Nite platform. Your support and guidance will touch every aspect of our business, from scheduling, to training, to business operations. At your core, you thrive by forging relationships, helping others, and seeing them succeed!

You will:

  • Oversee a region in the United States/Canada, and work with the licensees in that region to drive personal and business growth. Your success is based on their success!
  • Manage entry level and/or remote Relationship Managers, and continuously coordinate with your team on training opportunities.
  • Add caring and knowledge into the licensee’s everyday business activities
  • Work closely with our licensees to help support their business needs on a day to day basis
  • Organize applicable information, coordinate with the licensee team, and provide a plethora of resources that helps licensees expedite their ability to convey the Paint Nite brand values across the country (and around the world!)
  • Support licensees on a broad scope of problem solving tasks, ranging from local marketing, staff training, identifying key success metrics, and more
  • Be challenged to solve open-ended problems, even when they’re a little out of your depth
  • Work closely with the other areas of our licensing team, as well as the rest of our headquarters staff, to constantly improve our systems, processes, and resources
  • Have the opportunity to travel to see the licensees in your region, and better understand their markets

You have:

  • A true team player attitude; adept at working with multiple people at any given time
  • Incredibly organized with superb attention to detail
  • A metrics-based approach to success
  • Agility: You are able to shift tasks and priorities in a big way at the drop of a hat
  • A knack for constantly looking for ways to make things work more efficiently
  • A friendly and resilient personality; you often find a way to laugh when things get stressful
  • Ability to see through the question being asked to the actual problem a user is having
  • Ability to be proactive in anticipating needs before they arise
  • Strong computer skills (know your way around Microsoft Office, Google Drive, etc)
  • Extremely strong interpersonal skills, especially on the phone or in person.

Extra bonus points if:

  • You have experience working with small business owners, bars/restaurants, or managing territories
  • Your friends describe you as tenacious, agile, fun, and curious.
  • You fearlessly use a wide range of resources to resolve challenges, especially when you don't know the answer
  • You have experience managing a team of great people

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.

WHO WE ARE

Paint Nite® is invading local bars and restaurants across the US and Canada with a new way to go out, have fun, and feel good. It’s everything a great night should be—friends, drinks, and laughter. Plus, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind painting (we make it so easy!) along with the memory of a unique night out.
