About the Role:
This role will help develop and drive the company's Public Affairs strategy, including management of key processes and project management. This role will need to partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide key deliverables. Other core responsibilities include acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development of policy narratives on behalf of Aura including positions on key issues.
  • Drive media relations strategy related to these positions.
  • Identify, monitor and inform key stakeholders about key issues facing the company and our markets.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to craft compelling narrative campaigns and engagement strategies for policy stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with key members of the product, legal and marketing organizations to align on Public Affairs and Policy issues and opportunities.
  • Represent Aura team and provide strategic public affairs guidance on reputation based initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in public affairs, strategic/political communications, political campaigns and/or within government.
  • Experience leading the development of public policy campaigns and tools including messaging, polling, collateral materials, advertising, and events.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
