Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth category analysis, supplier rationalization, and understand Devo's objectives. 
  • Identify how Procurement can support strategy through conducting sourcing events (RFx), savings opportunities, supplier consolidation, and alternative purchasing strategies
  • Review terms and conditions of various customer, partner and vendor contracts
  • Assist with negotiations of various customer, partner and vendor agreements. 
  • Ensure that company is protected by SLAs in all vendor agreements to mitigate risk
  • Assist in the preparation of strategy plans by collaborating with Financial Planning & Analysis on budget strategy and present strategic plan for approval by Procurement leadership
  • Execute approved category strategic plan, resulting in meeting/exceeding targets in savings, efficiencies, supplier consolidation, supplier satisfaction, and contractual risk
  • Conduct market research, cost analysis, and ad-hoc problem solving where appropriate. 
  • Synthesize complex data into concise deliverables and present findings to management
  • Work with staff and executives to develop and implement improved processes and methods for assigned categories
  • Work with the company’s tools and platforms in conducting vendor security and risk assessments
  • Ensure that security reviews, financial reviews, and other due diligence requirements are met before onboarding new vendors


Who We Are Looking For?

  • 5 to 7 years in corporate contracts review preferred. Preferably in technology/SaaS industry.
  • Experience in procurement, contract law & or commercial agreements preferably in-house;
  • Experience with corporate law matters as well as the regulatory bodies that govern them;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the desire and ability to develop productive and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders across Devo both domestically and internationally;
  • Prior experience in startups or rapidly scaling organizations, including managing demanding timelines from multiple stakeholders a plus.

Education:

  • Law degree from ABA-accredited Law School
