We are looking for an Assistant Attorney in our Boston Office to join our international Legal Team. This is an opportunity for someone who is genuinely excited by new technologies to report to and work alongside our General Counsel. Our Assistant Attorney would:

• Be responsible for handling a broad and expanding array of legal issues, particularly in corporate governance, employment law, and contract drafting and negotiation
• Support the General Counsel directly in financings, investments, licensing, securities law issues, and other in-house, domestic and international matters with a sense of continuously growing independence
• Facilitate any research needed on specific projects, and ensure that General Counsel and all other team members and stakeholders are fully briefed on current projects
• Partner smoothly with paralegal, executive assistant, outside legal counsel, third parties, and internal stakeholders
• Be a key part of an inclusive environment that fosters collaboration and creativity both internally and externally

Your Qualifications & Our Requirements:

• Excellent academic credentials; Juris Doctorate degree from a reputable law school
• Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (must be a member in good standing); other states a plus
• Three-to-five (3-5) years demonstrable experience working in a law firm and/or in-house
• Experience with corporate governance, employment law, contracts. Basic experience with corporate law a must
• Self-starter; able to work independently
• Superb and demonstrable contract drafting and negotiation experience
• Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills proven in previous positions
• Excellent listener and genuine interest in novel concepts
• Technologically savvy; understanding of blockchain technology a plus
• Best-in-class written and verbal communication skills; able to enunciate technical information clearly to a wide variety of audiences
• Enjoyment working in a highly collaborative, fast paced, and dynamic environment
• English fluency required; proficiency in other languages a plus
• Ability to work onsite in the Boston Office
