We are currently seeking a Java Developer to join our Guidewire team in Coppell, TX.

You must live within 100 miles of Coppell, TX to be onsite twice a month for collaboration.

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to the design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of applications.

  • Support the development and maintenance of insurance system projects.

  • Collaborate with team members and IT colleagues to evaluate requirements and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.

  • Apply and expand your knowledge of technologies used for internet, intranet, and internal applications.

  • Participate in problem-solving discussions and share ideas to improve system performance and functionality.

  • Gain hands-on experience with Guidewire and related technologies.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, technology, computer science, or equivalent work experience.

  • Solid knowledge of Java Programming and Python.

  • Exposure to or interest in Guidewire Insurance Suite (experience preferred but not required).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
