We are currently seeking a Java Developer to join our Guidewire team in Coppell, TX.
You must live within 100 miles of Coppell, TX to be onsite twice a month for collaboration.
What You’ll Do:
Contribute to the design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of applications.
Support the development and maintenance of insurance system projects.
Collaborate with team members and IT colleagues to evaluate requirements and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
Apply and expand your knowledge of technologies used for internet, intranet, and internal applications.
Participate in problem-solving discussions and share ideas to improve system performance and functionality.
Gain hands-on experience with Guidewire and related technologies.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, technology, computer science, or equivalent work experience.
Solid knowledge of Java Programming and Python.
Exposure to or interest in Guidewire Insurance Suite (experience preferred but not required).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
