At Perceptive Automata, we use our understanding of human behavior, computer vision, and machine learning to make autonomous vehicles safer for people on and near the road.

We are hiring a software engineering intern to help develop our data collection, aggregation, and annotation platform. As a member of a small team, you will be exposed to all parts of our platform and will learn core technical skills crucial to your professional development. You will be working in an open and collaborative environment, engaging with teams across various disciplines. You will leave with an understanding of how your work connects to the overall mission of an emerging industry.

Strongly Preferred Skills & Background

• Background in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience with full-stack web development
• Experience with relational databases (we use PostgreSQL) and familiarity with large-scale data applications
• Knowledge of client-side web development using different JavaScript frameworks
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
