Software Engineering Intern, Core
Perceptive Automata is using our understanding of human behavior combined with computer vision and machine learning to help make autonomous vehicles (AV) safer for others on (or near) the road.
We are hiring software engineering interns to help develop our Core software infrastructure. As a member of a small team, you will be exposed to all parts of our platform and will learn core technical skills crucial to your professional development. You will be working in an open and collaborative environment, engaging with teams across various disciplines. You will leave with an understanding of how your work connects to the overall mission of an emerging industry.
Strongly Preferred Skills & Background
- Background in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Strong C++ programming skills
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience with Linux development environment
- Familiarity with Docker
- Familiarity with Git VCS
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Also Helpful
- Familiarity with Bash scripting
- Familiarity with Python ML frameworks, e.g. Pytorch
- Familiarity with C++ test frameworks, e.g. Catch2
- Familiarity with GPU programming with CUDA
