The Software Engineering Co-Op will work collaboratively with members of the Software Engineering team to create interfaces for Indigo’s customer-facing applications and backend data solutions that support large-scale data transport. This is a great opportunity to make an impact as a member of a highly efficient and cohesive engineering team that is focused on the customer’s needs and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Help implement performant APIs according to well-defined technical specifications
  • Leverage existing API design patterns to maintain organizational consistency
  • Work collaboratively with rest of Engineering team and cross-functional stakeholders

 

Competencies:

  • Enjoys working collaboratively across teams
  • Passion for Indigo mission and values
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to learn new technologies quickly; not afraid to ask questions

Qualifications:

  • Previous engineering internship, job, or co-op experience preferred
  • Some understanding of software design, including versioning, isolation and micro-services preferred
  • Education: working toward computer science degree (or related field) preferred
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, agile environment required

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
