Sales Ops Intern

We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing Sales Operations organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures. You will focus on learning how our organization runs while assisting our Sales & Sales Operations team in some key projects; one of the larger projects being cleansing and rebuilding our prospect data.
Responsibilities:
- Learn the basic functionality of our client relations management (CRM) systems and other sales-related tools/tech;
- Manage multiple databases and input information, data, and records;
- Perform research to discover key insights and make updates to record data accordingly;
- Assist Sales Operations Analysts in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain excel sheets;
- Perform additional general clerical duties, maintain files, and organize documents as needed;
- Take notes and memos during meetings; type documents, drafts, and reports;
- Perform general industry related tasks;
- Research and gather data on prospective sales targets;
- Assist in research projects as needed;
- Attend company functions and networking events;
- Shadow multiple cross-functional positions and train in a variety of tasks.
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit;
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel);
- Previous experience with/exposure to using a CRM a plus, but not a requirement;
- Must be 18 years of age;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Self-directed and able to work with little supervision;
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
