Product Management Intern

Role: We're looking for a motivated and creative Product Management Intern to partner with our Product, Sales, and dealer customers to onboard dealers onto new products and make sure our customer are getting the most out of their CarGurus product. The core responsibility for the role is to onboard new dealers , but the ideal candidate can own the improvement of this process and make recommendations to improve our underlying products.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with the product and sales team to onboard dealer customers to new products and manage existing dealer implementations.
- Review dealer performance and reconcile billing across existing accounts
- Identify internal process pain points in the new product activation workflow and recommend solutions for improving the process
- Learn dealer customer needs and identify opportunities to improve our product and drive incremental sales.
We'd like you to have:
- Detail-oriented mindset; you believe that a great product is the sum of an inordinate number of small, thoughtful decisions
- Ability to balance multiple projects and wear multiple hats to achieve product goals
- Flexibility to jump into new projects and contribute wherever help is needed
- Enrollment in 4-year undergraduate program
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Commitment:
- $20/hour
- ~10 hours/week, with the opportunity to increase based on business needs and candidate availability. Candidate must be available at least two days per week.
