Product Development Co-op/Intern - Robot

In this position, the Intern will work in partnership with the product development team to help bring new innovative products to market. Specifically, this position will be responsible for:

· Partnering with Product Development team members to help with the successful product launches of new and cutting-edge products

· Tracking our competitive landscape and providing analysis for areas of opportunity

· Coordination and execution of consumer research activities with internal and external testers in collaboration with Consumer Insights team

· Tracking of findings and action items from consumer research and product reviews

· Conducting ad-hoc analytical deep dives into consumer reviews – both Shark products and competitors – to understand the consumer’s point of view

· Aiding Product Developers with technical needs through:

o KPI testing/ Product definition holder – in partnership with Shark team members

o Thermal mapping – in partnership with Engineering and PD counterparts

Education and Experience

• The ideal candidate will have completed at least one prior Co-op in a marketing or consumer products role

• Business Administration degree (marketing focus) undergrad or graduate program, while maintaining a 3.25 (out of 4.0) GPA or better.

• Great communication skills

• Self-starter, energetic, keen to learn

• Flexible in approach
