The Internship
BookBub is seeking an enthusiastic, inquisitive, and creative problem solver to help conduct strategic business analyses and in-depth, data-based research during summer 2019. Projects will involve collaboration across teams, including Marketing, Business Development, and Product, and will help drive meaningful change in the business.
Here’s a sample of what someone can expect to accomplish during their internship:
- Manage analytics projects from start to finish: planning, data collection, analysis, & presentation of findings to inform product strategy
- Support teams with analysis around business operations including pricing, new feature launches, A/B testing, and retention
- Analyze marketing data to improve the performance of campaign elements including ads, landing pages, and more
- Collaborate and learn from managers and team members in numerous areas across the business
- Develop raw analytic skills and hone instincts on entrepreneurship & business
Who We’re Seeking
Ideal candidates for the position are intellectually curious, passionate about data, and interested in business strategy. They will also be excited about working in a fast-paced startup environment. They will have:
- Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data to achieve business objectives
- Proficiency with Excel (familiarity with or ability to pick up SQL a plus)
- A college junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
