HR - Project Management Intern/Employee Experience Intern
Overview
Our global HR team is looking for an Intern to assist with many different projects in our North American (NA) Headquarters in Lexington, MA. While the intern will report to our Employee Experience team, this internship presents a range of opportunities for exposure and experience throughout the HR organization. Interns should be expected to play a key role on a variety of projects related to employee engagement, corporate social responsibility, environmental sustainability, total rewards, talent acquisition, and learning & development.
Responsibilities
Employee Experience:
- Assist team members with virtual events, initiatives and communications related to community engagement, wellness, diversity and inclusion and the employee experience.
- Develop and update content to be used on our internal communications online platform.
- Identify and implement creative ways to continue driving traffic to virtual engagement spaces (ie. SharePoint, Slack channels, and more).
- Support efforts to build out virtual onboarding experiences for new Mimecast employees.
- Conduct research related to best-practices in the field of sustainability, wellness, and corporate social responsibility to enable Mimecast to continue growing programs for employees and the community.
- Contribute to the launch of Mimecast’s Inaugural Corporate Social Responsibility report.
- Collaborate, alongside Global Manager, Employee Experience, with social media team to share content on staff engagement and community relations programming.
- Work alongside Total Awards, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners and Learning and Development teams on a variety of projects that support employees and the broader Human Resources business function.

Qualifications:
- Ability to analyze data.
- Systems savvy and experience with HRIS, MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Great written and verbal communication skills and a polished customer service-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to work independently, initiate and identify solutions. Strong analytical skills, sound judgement and proven problem-solving skills.
