We’re looking for an enterprising critical thinker to join our Digital Retail team for the summer. This is a unique opportunity to meaningfully impact our fast growing business by identifying and driving forward new strategic opportunities. A successful candidate will have excellent analytical, communication and due diligence skills.
What You'll Do:
- Develop the Strategy: Work cross-functionally to develop the vision, business case, and go-to-market plan for a strategic priority area that will be core to the future of CarGurus’ business
- Use Data to tell the Story: Collect, analyze and summarize data into insights that support recommendations for next steps and strategic prioritization
- Grow Existing Partnerships: Upgrade existing partnerships by working cross functionally with engineering, product, sales and marketing to identify and implement new areas for growth or increased efficiency
- Be Part of a Great Team: Work alongside the broader business efforts and effectively communicate new opportunities, team plans and results
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of experience in a fast paced, dynamic technology, finance or consulting environment
- Bachelor’s degree from a top school required
- Proven record of academic excellence
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills required
- Ability to move fast and think big
- Ability to manage projects of varying size and scope simultaneously while prioritizing appropriately
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation experience
- Tenacious self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Ability to effectively liaison with internal teams, and able to adapt style to work closely with varying personality types
- Good sense of humor and likes working in an unstructured, fast-paced environment

CarGurus employees in the US can choose to work from home / remotely for the duration of 2021, or participate in a phased return to our beautiful office spaces.
