Communications Intern (Part-Time)

OVERVIEW:

Skillsoft is looking for a part-time intern to help elevate the newly refreshed Skillsoft and SumTotal brands. In this role, you will work closely with the internal Corporate Communications team to measure the success of the global Communications program and promote the organization's news, media coverage, and award wins. The ideal candidate is passionate about gaining new marketing skills and experiences, a strong writer, and able to quickly adjust and balance multiple priorities.

Uncertain times require new skills, and as a result, virtual learning has never been more relevant to an organization's success. With your help, we will increase awareness for Skillsoft's journey to build future-fit, agile, and resilient workforces around the world.

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:

• Play a leading role in managing and maintaining Skillsoft's podcast, The Edge.
• Join Agile marketing teams focused on supporting key areas of the business.
• Contribute to Skillsoft's Achieving Our Greatness blog sharing the journey of Skillsoft interns.
• Write internal and external communications notifying stakeholders about company news.
• Maintain media coverage, award wins, speaking opportunities, and press releases on the website.
• Develop social media content promoting content developed by Corporate Communications.
• Manage speaking/awards calendars and maintain award decks.
• Complete weekly reporting deliverables.
